Michigan Harvest of the Month™ (MiHOTM™) features ready-to-use tools and resources that encourage people to learn about and try fruits and vegetables. It was developed in alignment with Dietary Guidelines for Americans, Common Core State Standards, and Next Generation Science Standards. Materials can be used across the age spectrum – preschoolers to older adults – and in a variety of settings, from schools to community sites like farmers markets, grocery stores, and emergency food locations.
Resources of interest for Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program implementors include Family Newsletters in English, Spanish, and Arabic, Mini Posters in English, Spanish, and Arabic, and Institution Quantity Recipes.
