A variety of intervention trainings are being offered in an on-demand format. These recorded trainings allow for 24/7 viewing to offer flexibility in meeting the varied schedules of SNAP-Ed implementers. Program staff can view the trainings if they missed the live event or would like to watch them again. Viewers can pause the videos for note-taking or to look through their program materials. This training provides an introduction to EPEC, it’s alignment to physical literacy standards, and a detailed explanation of how to use the contents of the Print your Own CD and Animation DVDs to successfully implement EPEC. To best participate in this training, it is recommended that participants access the Overhand Throw module found in the Object Control folder on the Print Your Own CD.

This training provides an overview of the MyGardenTM Program and best practices for implementation both in-person and virtually. The new digitally modified MyGardenTM resources are presented and shared.

 

This training introduces the PE-NutTM program and prepares educators to successfully deliver PE-Nut’s™core nutrition education component in-person and virtually using digital modifications that have been made to the HSHC™ program.

This training covers the core physical literacy component of PE-Nut™ , the Exemplary Physical Education Curriculum™ (EPEC™), and provides implementation strategies for the supplemental components including FitBits™, Health Through Literacy™, food tastings, school-wide messaging, family engagement, and other supplemental resources to deliver a comprehensive community wrap around program.

This training provides an overview of the PAC as well as tips and discussion on completing the PAC collaboratively with a community team.

Rec-ConnectTM Summer 2021 Pilot Training – June 2, 2021
This training will introduce the Rec-ConnectTM Physical Activity Demonstration Playbook, your complete package of step-by-step guides to easily implement physical activity programming this summer. Rec-ConnectTM is a community-based program designed to inspire people to be active every day.
