SNAP-Ed University for FY 2025 was held August 22-23, 2024 at Graduate East Lansing.
SNAP-Ed University is a required training for SNAP-Ed subrecipient grantees. The two-day annual training provides practical tools and strategies to ensure federal grant compliance and how to support and build capacity for community-based SNAP-Ed programming. Led by Michigan Fitness Foundation staff, general and breakout sessions highlight topics including what’s new in grant operations for the coming year, how to deliver programs with fidelity, and requirements relating to grant compliance, evaluation, operations, programming, and reporting. Additionally, attendees learn best practices, practical approaches, and gain insights to plan, develop, and implement effective policy, systems, and environmental change initiatives. To foster engagement, networking time is built into the agenda to ensure everyone can mingle, chat informally, exchange ideas, and build relationships.
Michigan Fitness Foundation SNAP-Ed trainings welcome participants from MFF Partners, projects, and others who work in SNAP-Ed. If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate in training (in-person, online, etc.), please contact us at (517) 347-7891 or training@michiganfitness.org.
