PE-Nut™ Training-Part 1 Focus on Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities™

This training will prepare educators to successfully deliver PE-Nut’s™ core nutrition education component in-person and virtually using digital modifications that have been made to the HSHC™ program. This program demonstrated an evidence base when piloted in Michigan schools and communities. It is recommended that you have your HSHC™ resources (Activity Guides for the level you want to implement and Ensuring Success: User Guide) available during the training. PE-Nut™ Training-Part 2 Focus on Supplemental Materials

This training will cover the core physical activity component of PE-Nut™ with an introduction to the Exemplary Physical Education Curriculum™ (EPEC™) and will provide implementation strategies for the supplemental components to PE-Nut™ including FitBits™, Health Through Literacy™, PE-Nut™ Newsletters, the Building Leadership Guide™, and other supplemental resources to deliver a comprehensive community wrap around program.
