RFA Returning Information Session
Should we anticipate any new changes that might impact what we report on?
We have not received the fiscal year 2025 federal guidance yet, so at this time nothing new to expect. We will make sure to share any new changes related to programming and reporting when we update the FY25 CIP Service Provider Guide and final reporting instructions.
Where can we find the presentation portion of the information session and slides?
They can both be found at the Returning Community Impact Projects, technical assistance tab, https://snap-ed.michiganfitness.org/how-to-apply/request-for-applications/returning-community-impact-projects#technical-assistance-.
When will we receive the conversation questions?
You can expect to receive the questions when your MFF Program Manager emails you to schedule your conversation, likely the week of May 13.
Who should we bring to the conversation?
Plan to bring your current or anticipated program lead and up to two additional people. When considering who else to bring think about who might be able to speak about programming. This might be other program staff or a community member.

General Questions
As a Community Impact Project (CIP), will indirect costs still be covered by the grant?
An organization funded as a CIP can include indirect costs in the program budget as long as the appropriate documentation (e.g., approved indirect cost rate agreement, de minimis certification, etc.) is provided.
Is the Attestation Letter the only document we need to submit?
The Attestation Letter is the only document you need to submit for returning organizations. That is due May 13, by 4:30 p.m.
When will we be notified if our organization is being awarded?
Community Impact Projects are not a federal award. Planning for the next fiscal year will begin in earnest. CIPs will move through the program design process before building out a budget and then a services agreement will be put into place.
If our SNAP-Ed team changes after we submit the Attestation Letter, can we make updates?
Yes. If you need to update the contacts listed in the Attestation Letter, send an email to communityimpactprojects@michiganfitness.org, so we can update our records.
