Physical Education and Nutrition Working Together (PE-Nut) is a nutrition and physical education program that uses a comprehensive approach to motivate students, parents, and educators to eat healthier and be more physically active. PE-Nut trainings offer an interactive, hands-on experience using the core nutrition education curriculum (Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities) and introduce participants to supplemental PE-Nut materials, such as FitBits, Health Through Literacy, take-home materials, and more.

The PE-Nut training is designed for those who are new to PE-Nut or those who would like a refresher. At this training you will get hands-on experience using the Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities (HSHC) Pre-K-Kindergarten, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary units. HSHC is a complete, easy-to-use program that provides you with the tools to help children and families eat better and move more. You will also learn the ins and outs of Fit Bits, Health Through Literacy, take home materials and more. Register by clicking on the link above.
