Process

Organizations interested in becoming Community Impact Projects in FY 2025 (October 1, 2024-September 30, 2025) must complete and submit the required application documents.

FY 2025 Request for Applications for Community Impact Projects

Organizations currently funded in FY 2024 by SNAP-Ed at MFF

Complete the Returning Community Impact Projects Attestation Form

Organizations not currently funded in FY 2024 by SNAP-Ed at MFF

Complete the New Community Impact Projects Application

FY 2025 Request for Applications for Community Impact Projects

  1. Organizations currently funded in FY 2024 by SNAP-Ed at MFF

    1. Complete the Returning Community Impact Projects Attestation Form

  2. Organizations not currently funded in FY 2024 by SNAP-Ed at MFF

    1. Complete the New Community Impact Projects Application

Organizations interested in becoming a Community Impact Project in FY 2025 (October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025) will apply as a Returning Community Impact Project or as a New Community Impact Project.

For organizations that are currently funded as a Community Impact Project and plan to remain a CIP in FY 2025, apply by clicking the “Returning Community Impact Projects” button at the bottom of the page.

For organizations that are not currently funded as a CIP, apply by clicking the “New Community Impact Projects” button at the bottom of the page.

Eligibility Criteria

Organizations funded as a Community Impact Project Contractor, must demonstrate:

  • Organizational ability and expertise to:
    • Deliver SNAP-Ed programming locally as a contracted service to MFF
    • Engage with eligible populations and provide programming designed by MFF in described settings
    • Deliver direct education programming
    • Conduct policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change work
    • Participate in required evaluation and reporting
    • Use a collaborative approach to achieving goals
  • Ability to meet the criteria listed in the Attestation Letter (Click to download a Word document) (Returning CIPs) or Letter of Qualification (Click to download a Word document) (New CIPs)
  • Commitment to conduct all programming and reporting in alignment with SNAP-Ed program parameters outlined in the FY24 CIP Service Provider Guide
  • Capacity to participate in a reimbursement grant where organizations are reimbursed for allowable program costs, including staff time and effort, after they have occurred
  • Accounting system that, at a minimum, consists of a chart of accounts, cash receipts journal, cash disbursements journal, and general ledger

Note: Prior funding from MFF is not a guarantee of future funding. All funding is contingent on the availability of funds.
