This training will provide an overview of the LL-CC program materials and how it is implemented both in person and virtually as a supplement to core direct education with a PSE focus in the learners’ community. The pilot development process and evaluation activities will be discussed. Time will be allowed for questions and discussion. Although this intervention was developed to accompany LL-Schools, it can be used with other core interventions to apply learning to assessing and planning for PSE change in the community.

PE-Nut™ Training-Part 1 Focus on Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities™
This training will prepare educators to successfully deliver PE-Nut’s™ core nutrition education component in-person and virtually using digital modifications that have been made to the HSHC™ program. This program demonstrated an evidence base when piloted in Michigan schools and communities. It is recommended that you have your HSHC™ resources (Activity Guides for the level you want to implement and Ensuring Success: User Guide) available during the training.
